    Leila El- Assaby was Egyptian archaeologistعالمة آثار . She had been in an excavation journeyرحلة تنقيب عن الآثار in Peru with Dr. Hafez as a part of UNESCO archaeological projectمشروع في الآثار . She was back in Cairo with her parents and her sister Samira. She wasn't in Peru any moreلم تعد في بيرو. She could hear the familiar soundsأصوات مألوفة of the place she lived in. She heard her neighbourhood childrenأطفال الجيران playing in the street, the call of a man selling melonsبطيخ , the roar of traffic and her sister Samira doing something in the kitchen. There was a photo on the table beside her bed. It was her own picture in which she was looking at the camera and holding upتمسك a little gold figureتمثال of an animal. This photo remindedذكرتها her of a good day of her journey. She felt a shiver down her backشعرت بقشعريرة تتملكها and she closed her eyes. She was happy she was safe in Cairo again. She began to tell what had happened during that journey.

    Leila set offانطلقت her biggest adventureمغامرة of her life two months ago. Her sister Samira was driving her to the airport. Samira never stopped talking that made Leila forgetتنسي that she was nervous and worried about flying by plane. Leila told Samira that she was excitedمبسوطة because she had never been toلم تذهب ابداً South America before. Leila was worried about everything unlikeعكس her sister Samira who was so funny. Leila told Samira that she was taking a small laser machine to Dr. Hafez. This machine which was a new technique developed by the department of archaeologyقسم الآثار in Cairo. Nobody knew about it ,so it was a secretسر and Dr. Hafez teamفريق wanted to be the first to use it.
